SANDSTON, Va. - Hundreds of people lined the streets of Sandston to see this year's Memorial Day parade.

The commander of Post 242, Frank Clayton , and others from the American Legion as well as members of the community participated Monday in a Memorial Day ceremony at Seven Pines National Cemetery in Sandston.

A bomb scare forces families in one Sandston neighborhood out of their homes. It began as a welfare check at a home in the 1200 block of Mill Reef Court.
