McCain Voted Against Increased Funding for Veterans’ Health Care. Ex-GOP county chairman pleads guilty

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind.- A former Clark County Republican chairman has pleaded guilty to criminal deviate conduct, a felony charge that could send him to prison.

Sentencing is set for June 30 for Glenn Murphy Jr., who resigned as county chairman last August following his arrest.

Authorities said he performed oral sex on a sleeping man following a party at a home in Jeffersonville in July. He pleaded guilty in Superior Court on Thursday as part of an agreement that calls for a six-year sentence, with four years suspended...
