Elderly Sand Springs Resident Rescued From Burning Home

Firefighters are called to a house fire in Sand Springs early Tuesday morning. Firefighters say a transformer blew on a utility pole next to the roof of a home in the 900 block of North Franklin Avenue a little before 5 a.m. The transformer fell on the house and caught fire.
