Man survives plane crash in San Saba County

A pilot survived an attempted emergency landing in San Saba County on Saturday. Alan Crawford, the pilot, owner and sole occupant of a Glasair Super II, a fixed-wing, single-engine aircraft, was flying from Fort Worth to Llano when his plane experienced engine problems, according to the Department of Public Safety.
