I am glad that SRPD believed her and dealt with this dangerous situation promptly. This young lady, however, should not be referred to as a "prostitute." She is a victim/survivor of commercial sexual exploitation, Human Trafficking.
Hopefully, she will be provided appropriate services and the individuals who raped her while she was enslaved to this pimp will also be found and prosecuted!

I agree, she should not be labeled as a prostitute and the "pimp" should be tried by the Feds on trafficking of a minor charges because the DA in Marin is so soft on crime he'll walk and probably kill that girl if he gets the chance. I am going to watch what the DA does on this one and if this case is blown off and this guy does not get at least five years I am going to work for a conservative for DA next time!!

Not all PROSTITUTES are victims. Not all are slaves. Spend some time looking around craigslist and just look at all the victims. Look at sfredbook. There are hundreds, if not thousands of willing and able (?) women looking to perform any act for a few dollars.

This is a huge problem for every American Citizen but complaining to anonymous faces on the internet isn't going to do us any good in letting our politicians know how strogly we feel on this matter.

All the above website has FREE services that allow you to fax your politicians, sign petitions, send letters and educate yourself on your local, state and federal representatives stance on illegal immigratio and what you can do to let them know how you feel and help get them out of office if they want to give amnesty to criminals.
Right now pro-illegal immigrant groups are being louder and more vocal than us.
We need to reverse that trend. Our jobs, our sovereignty our way of life and our children and grand children's future is what is at stake.
Take a couple minutes every day and send a fax, sign a petition, send a letter and make a phone call.
You're already on the Internet. Make your voice heard to the people who can enforce the laws.
