Gerry, you have been in one spot to long, the need for a little travle to nations that followed the basic ideas of his teachings tells one that the collective does not work.

A: neither does Obama's - and tell us where those stimulus funds actually WENT and any substantial and tangible effect they've had.

B: Except Guantanamo is still OPEN since his closing plan didn't have any logistical reality in it and they still can't figure out where to put the prisoners - all it's going to be is a relocation...but no tangible change.

C: Changing healthcare? Well, one- we'll see if he gets it passed and two- I hope he doesn't get it passed if it looks anything like UK's or Canada's (seen them both, have the scars to prove it, no thanks...)

So far, he hasn't really DONE anything. Don't kid yourself.

You obviously don't know much about U.S. presidents. I am a Democrat but he has sacrificed the future of our young people on a stimulus package that is not working. As Bill Mahr pointed out, "I wanted a president not a celebrity." He also correctly said he has done nothing. I find this president arrogant with no focus. You live in a dream world. Look at Europe's health care. They are paying half of their checks to national health. And the rich get better doctors and hospitals. You must be a kid. I guarantee you this is not the best president and he won't be reelected. The only reason McCain lost was because the economy tanked in the last days of the campaign. He was ahead in the polls. I am a Democrat but this is not a great president by any means.
