So sad, they ransack his shop too, to try to find dirt on him. Of course the tax payers going to pay, what about filing charges against the police, since they wont file them against him.

What does therapy for staples consist of ? This guy has been full of crap from the beginning when he resisted arrest. I hope i am on his civil jury he will get nothing. This crappy paper keeps calling it a fight or beating why not call it what it was? Man who resisted arrest finds his shop robbed. His doper friends probally broke in.

If he hadn't resisted arrest the officers wouldn't have had to use the batons to get him to stop resisting and to comply with their requests....why resist if you are innocent of any wrong doing?...I suspect this so called burglary is all staged in order to get further publicity for his upcoming civil suit...just because he was released doesn't mean that charges will not be filed...he is probably trying to turn this into another Rodney King incident hoping he will cash in....NOT....the officers were doing their jobs...next time comply with their requests and they won't have to force you to comply....

I guess LAPD got rid of their poker hand of 4 clubs and a "KING" and gave that hand to SBPD!!! HahahahahaA! This guy and his ambulance chasing lawyer should be both charged with false reports submitted into the legal system!!! They are both looking to get paid! I wonder if this IDIOTY that got beat down was actually tested inside the hospital and if the hospital found drugs in his system? I will laugh if they did because everyone knows this guy is only looking to get paid at the expense of my friken tax dollars!!! SBPD should hit him again just because!!!!!!

I wonder if some of these cold hearted people aren't our loving cops doing their job to serve and protect us?

It is what people who are in the know call. "propaganda."

and I think it is a sad day when our police officers or ex-police officers engage in such behavior and it is also a show of true corruption on the force.

Honestly, I would sue the officers and the SBPD for what happened. Including the robbery because it occured during a wrongful inprisonment.

the vast majority of cops are good and they serve with honor, but there are also a few ****heads out there. to deny this means you've either a) never worked on the force, or b) have your head neck deep in sand.

only time will tell what was at work here.

this guy is a piece of work! he breaks the law. gets caught. get belligerent with the officers that caught him. responds with violence. then gets his ass handed to him. then wants to complain about their behavior when he forced the officer to react to his actions. and then he hires an attorney to try to get rich of his own ignorance. but then has to call upon the police to help him because his business was broken into? typical

Hahaha The Sun now has an automatic computer censor Nazi that says "Please refrain from posting profanity or offensive material. Be polite. Inappropriate posts may be removed by the moderator."

I can't even speak my mind here anymore. It gets censored automatically before even being posted now. This is my LAST POST EVER!!!!!!! The last time I ever read this socialist rag!!!!! I am completely boycotting The Sun newspaper in every form. The Sun has just stomped on our first amendment rights.

Don't bother responding to this post, I'll NEVER see it.

All liberals should be banned to a deserted island. Why is crime so rampant in America? Because of organizations such as the ACLU and the NAACP, as well as money-hungry attorneys, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and liberals like you. Other countries are tough on crime and tough on criminals, and don't put up with any kind of shenanigans.

I've seen this video over and over, and don't see any excessive force. If you dare fight with the police, you will get what you deserve. If everyone could fight with the police and not suffer any consequences, with what authority would the police protect you and I? You're the kind of person that would want the military to go fight in Afghanistan with paint ball guns because killing people is bad. If some dirt bag raped your wife or daughter, you'd pray that the guy would resist the cops, and that the cops would pummel him.
