Escaped inmate captured
The inmate who escaped from the Logan County Detention Center on July 6 was caught on Monday thanks to the combined efforts of the Logan County Sheriff's Department and the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force.

Funds allocated to fix old train depot

Helping get fresh food to the needy
Three non-profits have come together to help the community by offering free vegetables every Wednesday between 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. or until the food runs out, right down from the old Roy's Bar-B-Que on Fourth Street coming into Russellville.
Summer has arrived. Grain Crops are being harvested. Combines and grain trucks can be seen on the roads going from farm to farm and field to field.
