Elliott jailer denies raping woman

does anybody know this lying woman. If you do post your comments for all to see.

This woman left her husband and kids and was living with a 70 year old man, who called the police to come and get her and was taking his pain pills. She lived with a man in Morgan County for 2 weeks and stole his checks and wrote 1800 dollars worth. I don't think she "accidentally" bounced his account. And anyone believes anything she says?

i used to transport as well, men and women, they will try to burn you in a minute if they think they can........i am pro charlie....power to him

GLAD TO HEAR that something will be done with the wife, also. Why should someone in such a position be allowed to neglect their duties on the job??

I agree she should have done her job, or give that job to somebody that could do it. But she has her kids to raise now by herself. Nobody told him to pull out of that courthouse without an escort. He should have found somebody.

That was not her job. she has a full time job.Elliott County did not have a female to help transport. She would help out if she was available. She was not hired to do that job and was not an employee of Elliott County. Her husband was.She received no salary, although they would pay her if she helped transport. They should have hired someone full time if that was a law. They did not have a female to help transport.Would you expect your wife to stay home from her job and go to work with you, jerk.

People, His wife is not and was not employeed by Elliott County. She did this as a favor when available. This was not her job. If someone was needed all the time Elliott County should have hired someone. She has a full time job and children. Would you expect your wife to stay home from her job and go to work with you? When she was available she was paid a very small fee for her service for that trip. This is ridiculous. SHE IS NOT EMPLOYEED BY ELLIOTT COUNTY!!!!!

Who was the arresting officer/county official? If the job was done properly they should have seen that a female officer/person was properly escorted with this jailer. You do not put a female traveling alone with a male or a female official traveling alone with a male this can complicate matters. Maybe the county should hire a fulltime female deputy/sheriff. The verdict is in and regardless who was right or wrong, Charlie will have to spend quite a few years in prison and the girl will have the scares that she was raped.(Her past should not have anything do do with this crime). How would you feel if that had been your mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, girlfriend who had to be put on trial because someone had taken advantage of her in a situation like this. I feel for Charlie’s family, I know his wife and children has been through a lot. I hope and pray that God gives both of their families the strength to make it through this ordeal.
This is another news media frenzy that makes for Elliott County look like we are not smart enough to vote for a decent official that will uphold the office they are elected. When the county election is held we need to make sure the proper authorities are elected not a crook. I have had individuals from other counties that have asked if we have anyone to run for office instead of electing the same individuals. Our tax dollars pay their salaries and once elected they care little for the people of Elliott County (believe me their salaries are 4 or 5 time more than the normal taxpayer of Elliott County). Our county could thrive and become a viable county like Carter, Morgan, Rowan, Lawrence and any of the surrounding counties. We have only the bare necessity for our county to survive and seems like we are left out when funds become available for any major roads or projects in the county. Sad but true we do not even have a stop light in the county/city.

One-party counties never have (and never will) fare well when the funds are allocated. And that is exactly why we (Elliott County citizenry) get deliberately shortchanged and ignored by government. Maintaining the status quo will not bring a change. A strong two-party county will fare much better.

I see Mrs. Howard as being the victim in this whole case. She didn't hold a position in Elliott County and her husband and this "woman" were the one's who committed an offense against her.

Evidently the jury found Mr. Howard guilty. How many of you sat in the courthouse and listened to testimony by the accused and defendant? Instead you want to get on this website and makeup lies and tell what you heard from some good old boy or gal and you have never meet and don't have a clue about this lady. Small town talk is cheap and if you haven't noticed over the years these good old boys stick together and will always try and destroy a lady if one of them is accused of doing wrong.

And he is stupid enough to go against all rules and regulations what makes you think he isn't stupid enough to rape her. Come on, an upstanding man would not have veered from the path to the jail, not once but TWICE!! Charlie got what he deserved. I am sorry for his wife but know who you're saying "I do" to before you do it.

was in the court room. nothing could be said about her. know her and how she is. not little miss innocent. no signs of struggle, not even stretched panties. no sign of rape.that is what i heard in the courtrom.testimony by official witnesses.adultery, yes. not rape

First of all charlie howard did not rape her second of all he did not get a fair trail. and i think it is bull he is in jail for this shit i think charlie should be walkin free he didn;t rape her you can;t RAPE THE WILLING. I think everyone that knows him would agree with you! Its really sad 4 him and his family that this shit could happen over some ho! I seen on nbc news that she was a mother of 3,well she may have given birth to 3 kids but with a record like hers i dont think u could call her a mother.I just hope that the people in sandy hook will stand behind Charlie and support him thru this crazy shit,I hope she reads this shit and knows that she may have convienced the jury but theres no convincing the people that really know Charlie!!!!
