Weather History: April 20: Record Temps, Storms, Tornadoes, Wind & Snow
A spring storm produced unusually heavy snow in northeast Ohio. Warren received 35.5 inches in 36 hours, and 28 inches fell at Green Hill.
Debbie Urban marveled at the sheer number of friends and neighbors who showed up to lend a helping hand after a tornado swept through the Rush County farmstead east of here, damaging everything it touched.
The outbreak of damaging storms started early in Rush County, but as soon as the warning expired, tornadoes started dropping from the sky.

Tornadoes also were reported near Sawyer in Pratt County, near Seward in Stafford County, near Timken and Rush Center in Rush County and near Hanston in Hodgeman County.
