not impressed with sonic. like a sort-of fancy mcdonald's with lots of high-fructose corn syrupy, artificially colored and flavored soft drinks. big deal. i'd rather eat at hackney's any day.

Visited Sonic last night and was impressed by the crowd...but was very disgusted by the food. The rave to bring this new restaurant to Illinois was not all that I anticipated. The Burgers were not tasty, the fries absolutely were not edible, the onion rings were strange tasting and the shakes were not all they were hyped up to be. If they only served ice cream I would expect them to make it. But keep supporting the other LOCAL RESTAURANTS - they have way better food. I hope they have a cruise nite that would be nice
