The juror whose actions caused a mistrial in a murder case earlier this summer may be charged or fined next week in what Judge Richard Giardino said is case unlike any other he's come across. The juror, identified as Allison S. of Rotterdam, appeared in Schenectady County Court Friday morning for the second part of a contempt hearing.

Glenville telecom firm expanding, hiring more staff

Communications Test Design Inc. , which serves the global telecommunications industry, is expanding its facility in Glenville, New York and will hire 20 more full-time employees.
