I was there today and it was an excellent event. It was especially heartwarming listening to Thomas Vaughan after all he's been through.

Thanks also to Dave Allen and Barry Spitz for their great work today...

Congratulations on all the 'winners'! Hey, Hey Hey! Congratulations Mr. Pitcher, but to the two young ladies I say 'Well done'. I hope that you set an example to your peers. I am impressed. Keep it goin' on Marin, there is alot more out there than the 'face book'.

Thomas Vaughan is a reminder that we all need
health insurance. Dipsey is a great race--so was
Obamas health insurance speech. Maybe the I.J.
could do an in depth story about something
really important? maybe they can't? Maybe a
retired Marin County doctor could explain why the AMA "Chiefs" look like rich white conservative Republicans? Why do I feel like i'm the only one
in Marin without health insurance? Drug prices
are outrageous? County clinics seem terrible
overused? Private practice doctors seem miserable?
Why am I charged so much more at Marin General than
Insurance companies are eventually billed for?
I know--chut up--

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Cancer

No one can accuse you of being a wallflower today! The modern cowboy or cowgirl has a tendency to shoot from the lip and you won't be afraid to tell it like it is. Your response will be quick, and your timing near perfect. If you don't accomplish what you set out to do this morning by the end of the day, it won't be for lack of trying. Getting an 'A' for effort is sometimes better than facing the test.
