Barbaric? As opposed to letting them starve to death.
If a Deer (or anything else) wants to take a shot at me make it count, as I won't miss when I return fire.

I'd rather eat venison that my husband shot, dressed, butchered, and cooked, than walk down to the corner store and buy a pound of factory-farmed hamburger. That deer led a better life and died in less suffering than that feedlot cow, I can assure you. I think all you people who claim that hunting is barbaric but continue to eat store-bought meat that someone else butchered for you are hypocrites.

This is an amazing trophy buck - I think it's a great story.

I agree. The deer my husband shoots is handled more humanely than the cows and pigs brought to the slaughter house that is neatly wrapped and packaged in the stores. People are naive where most of their grocery store meat comes from. Some people are anti-hunting but then go to the store to buy their tenderloin or bacon.

Hypocrites.

It seems "Bananas at Large" will have to create a new version of "The 30 Point Buck" called "The Death of the 30 Point Buck".

What does "aloud" mean? At least you made your point of trying to annoy people and make them reply to your stupid post (I did).
You don't like venison? Don't eat it. Keep sitting on your couch ordering pizza and getting fatter. Geez, idiots like you shouldn't be "allowed" to post!

Doesn't take much to go shoot something with a bow? I would agree with the gun, there is hardly a challenge there but with a bow? You obviously either don't bow hunt or sit over a corn pile.

If some deer came by and shot me I'd be pretty surprised they could pull a trigger or pull a bow back with their lack of hands.

Only knife hunting.
hmmm...
Wouldn't that make the deer really suffer as you try to stab it to death? An arrow or a bullet through the heart is much more humane. As to not hunting deer, you should move to Northern MN. When you see a deer dying a slow painful death due to starvation or illness then you might change your opinion on hunting. But, I know you would rather have them suffering a slow painful horrible death then a quick one because you are a very compassionate induhvidual.

Stop watching "Bambi" and get into the real world. Oh by the way, mamma deer always lets the baby deer go into the fields first, so that way they can get away if their baby deer gets shot.

Now, if you were against the hunter who only takes the head and the prime cuts and leaves the rest to rot in the woods or the hunter that just shoots the deer in the stomach with a 22 so that it would go off and die somewhere, then I would have a different opinion. I seen multiple examples of this in the 80 acres of state that is near my land.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Sagittarius

Happy New Year, Saggitarius! Despite the headache, your motivation level is high today, setting a trend for the rest of the year. You'll be surrounded by relatives and friends all year and will work passionately to help them, as you do. Things go smoothly today, and you're absorbed with the duties of new year. Be careful that you don't neglect your own health, though. You can't help others if you're run down.
