By T.W. ALLEN PDT Staff Writer The Lawrence-Scioto Solid Waste Management District is partnering with Shawnee State Park to offer residents of Scioto County an opportunity to environmentally recycle live Christmas Trees.

Local authorities have obtained an arrest warrant and are taking precautions to alert area residents about the escape from a psychiatric ward of a man who reportedly shot at Scioto County Sheriff's deputies in January 2011.

Sun and Funland Pool, on Lakeview Avenue in New Boston, has been helping cool the summer heat since the 1960s, but could this be the year the pool finally takes a bellyflop into the shallow end? The pool is owned by the non-profit group, Sun and Funland Pool, Inc.
