DEED awards $2.5 million for redevelopment projects

St. Paul, MN -- Eight projects were awarded a total of $2.5 million in grants from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development to help offset the costs of reclaiming and redeveloping blighted property in the state.

Description: Steven Richard Kahl, 47, of Rosemount, led police on a 19-minute chase through Hastings and the surrounding area at more than 100 miles per hour, ignoring stop signs until losing control of his van and crashing, a criminal complaint said.
