Ronceverte annexation hits a snag

The county commissioners have no say in the annexation (PER STATE CODE) that have to say it is ok and move on. The problem is the commissioners are not doing what the state law says and are just drumming up votes for themselfs later in life. This is only a game to them. from what I have read and seen Ronceverte wants to make the area better and give the people water and sewer. What are the poeple thinking by fighting this thing. I would love to have water and not have to bring it in by the truck load. "JUST GIVE IT TO THEM COUNTY COMMISSION PER STATE LAW"

so your saying you want to throw hundreds of farmsers jobs out the window?? They are wanting to annex morgan hollow, 219 and horseshoe bend to stoney glen and due to that annex no farms are allowed within city limits. if they were only annexing stoney glen no one would care.

and on the water ronceverte has a boil water advisery all the time, or they shut off the water due to water leaks. i'm quite happy with my well water.

I live here in the present city limits of Ronceverte and do not think they can furnish water, sewer, police and firefighter's to all that area. They can't keep clean water to us who live here and it would be a shame to lose the farms by calling the country a "CITY".

OC Raised. true no farms are allowed in city limits,BUT the ones that already exist will be grandfathered in(btw i dont see any new farms being created, 1: its hard to keep the ones we have now and 2:they arent making anymore land, quit doin that years ago. Also Im pretty sure horseshoe bend is not included just the road ways of morgan hollow. Its pretty funny that everyone is listeneing to a certain gentlman that just moved back to the area, and im pretty sure id rather see the OC the way it is now not like a "village" in michigan.

The city of ronceverte is not taking anyones land into to city that does not wish to be in. The city is only taking in stoney glenn property, us rt 219, & morhan hollow road. People you have all been lied to and told false info. and i to have also red the state law on shoestring annex. The law is very clear and all the city needs is one property at the end and they can take the road to that property. Look and some other citys in WV they have done this and it is legal.

Now that Blaine (tell you what you want to hear) Oborn is leaving maybe this stuff will go away.

Ronceverte cannot even take care of there own problems and issues. Why do they want to take on Organ Cave? Oh, thats right, they want that big grant for the water issues. Just some more money for someone else down there to steal..LMAO

I agree LOL.. Also the citizens of Ronceverte can expect their real estate taxes to go up about a 4th as well..

I live on 219 south of Ronceverte and I want the City to take 219 and help slow down the drivers on 219. I have requested the City to annex my house and property into the City. I would like to have the water and the police protection.(never see a Deputy or Trooper out here)Keep fighting for it Ronceverte. I support you all the way!
