Expert witness testifies that disputed Saks surgeries were necessary

This is a prime example why insurance costs go through the roof. Somebody has to pay for fraudulant billing. Who pays for fraudulant claims? Answer: It gets passed down to the consumers!

The problem is that doctors don't want to spend the money to hire a biller and coder who knows what they are doing. Instead they hire their wife to be the office manager and the cheap labor to work the front desk.Neither of these two groups know how to bill correctly.After years of working with doctors who have their wives doing the billing I realize that doctors should never hire their wives to work in the office they have no experience doing billing. If you want to have a professional office hire a professional to do the job.If the public knew how many doctors are doing "creative billing" they would be shocked and many of these doctors if they are caught get a small fine and a slap on the wrist.

The ONLY goal of the insurance companies is money! They pay Doctors so little that my Doctor in Santa Monica switched to concierge medicine. After paying for his malpractice insurance he wasn't making any money and although I can't afford him now, I don't fault him. I fault aetna who nickle and dimed him into concierge medicine!
