You can still get great costumes at www.malloffluvanna.com

They have over a dozen halloween stores with costumes, makeup, props and more and there is a 20%off coupon! I just got a 6 ft animated motion sensor witch that scared the snot out of the pizza guy for under $40!

Do they give the children good candy? The reason I'm asking is because where we used to live, the park would give the cheapest candy available and it wasted our time. My children aren't picky but wanted somewhat of a variety. It was mostly tootsie rolls and dum dum suckers.

Laurel Run Park is on the upper end of Church Hill. So are you talking about another park?

Yeah we understand where you are coming from. There is no bigger disappointment for a child than walking the little legs off just to get one lowsy piece of candy. I know money is tight, but my goodness it`s for the children!! Candy is placed on sale way ahead of time.Plenty of time to stock up. Be considerate of the kids. It`s their day...not ours. Don`t be stingey!

We were very pleased with what our children got and the way they were treated. We enjoyed the evening as much as the children. The best change was having the little ones going in the same direction to get their candy.

The line and wait was long last year but it was safe. Here is a alternative you can take your kids to the nursing home even if you dont have family there. They had given candy to children for the past couple of years. I am sure they will do it again. If I get a chance I will call and make sure. The residents love it and my kids have always had fun there.

How much money would you guess a car owner has spent on candy? Who has their candy on sale?

The last two years I have spent over 150 dollars for the kids. This will only give you one or two pieces of candy for each kid.I ran out the past two years. IT'S FOR THE KIDS so if you don't like the candy go to Walmart and get your own.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Cancer

You'll be happiest when you're with people who make you feel loved and cherished. You'll bend over backwards to keep them sweet, and will concede arguments and disputes for the sake of peace. Try not to make it peace at any price because that could be setting up problems with people who will then try to take advantage of your good nature. Co-operation is one thing, being a doormat is quite different.
