The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County this weekend, June 2-3: Saturday Local author Lonie B. Adcock will be in Cedartown for a book signing on Saturday, June 2 at Main Street Books in Cedartown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adcock was born in Kingston and grew up in Rome where he currently lives with his wife, Eunice.
