They stayed open, because that is what Rick would have wanted them to do. He dedicated his life to that place. His family, black iron family, and friends are still grieving. Rick was an amazing guy who would have done anything for anyone and will be strongly missed by an endless amount of people.

Condolences to family and friends of Rick. It's absurd to be judgemental and critical of others just because you might be a bitter soul. I don't wish heartache for anyone... even you, Who cares... God Bless you!

I only met him and his wife twice but he was nice enough to stop by my table and ask how the food and things were and to chat a bit. Was a very nice down to earth man.. Sorry for the loss for his wife and all who know him. sorry for the comments of those who are bitter.. for they don't know.

what was his blood alcohol level? no one is reporting that are they?

What caused the wreck? What caused the heart attack, what caused the cancer, what caused the murder? The real question is what caused you to want to know about the alcohol level. People die every day. This is a reality and as sad as it is we should respect the family and not try to evaluate the cause of death or find fault for their demise. Death deserves our respect no matter what the situation.

Eating fatty food causes heart attacks, smoking causes cancer....drinking and driving should not be tolerated.

I sincerely doubt if you would appreciate people around town talking about your decisions.There are a lot of things that people do that should not be tolerated.The truth is, whether we tolerate them or not people make choices and consequences good or bad usually follow. The best way to stop a rumor is to not continue it.

Wheel Patron is a f'ing drunk only on here to strir up crap. He lives above the Wheel in Neb City, I know who he is and all he does is clean the bar and drink up whatever money Tammy pays him.

Sorry about the loss to this guys family, didn't really know him but from the few times we partied.
He was one heck of a guy that knew how to "live it large"
