The 38-year-old man accused of fatally shooting Rochester police officer Daryl Pierson has been indicted on six criminal counts, including aggravated murder. The grand jury indictment against Thomas Johnson III was handed up Friday and made public Monday morning at about the same time he was sent from Strong Memorial Hospital to the Monroe County Jail.
