A federal grand jury in Rochester handed down a seven-count indictment against Mufid Elfgeeh, 30, following an investigation by the FBI's Rochester Joint Terrorism Task Force, a Justice Department statement said.

Thomas Pryor, 29, of Spencerport, Qzay Clark, 28, or Farmington, and Alexander Kates, 23, of Rochester pleaded not guilty to the following charges: Kidnapping 1st , Burglary 1st, Robbery 1st, Grand Larceny 1st, Criminal Possession of a Firearm 1st, Assault 2nd, Burglary 3rd and Grand Larceny 2nd.

Rochester Man Indicted For Liberty Pole Rape

Rochester N.Y.- A Monroe County Grand Jury has indicted a Rochester man who is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl near the Liberty Pole less then 24 hours after he had been released from prison. Michael Caruthers is now indicted on charges that include f first- and second-degree rape, first and second-degree criminal sex act and criminal obstruction of breathing.

The 38-year-old man accused of fatally shooting Rochester police officer Daryl Pierson has been indicted on six criminal counts, including aggravated murder. The grand jury indictment against Thomas Johnson III was handed up Friday and made public Monday morning at about the same time he was sent from Strong Memorial Hospital to the Monroe County Jail.
