A motorist trying to pass a line of cars made it by three of the four today before the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn and killing him, Louisiana State Police said.

Troopers responded to the scene of a crash this morning which occurred on La Hwy 6. The crash involved a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Paul Kay of Robeline, La.

A vehicle being operated in a careless manner crashed during lunch hour Tuesday, claiming the life of a Robeline man, according to state police.
