Investigators were called early Monday afternoon after the body of a white male was discovered by a fence line in a grassy area of County 2340 outside Riviera, a Kleberg County Sheriff's Office spokesman said.

The county raised $39,248 since 2010 when it enacted the tax, which can only be used to promote tourism.
