Wayne County news briefs: 2 write-ins challenging Westland mayor

Two write-in candidates have filed to challenge Mayor William Wild, who is unopposed on Tuesday's ballot in his bid for re-election. Angelo Stocchi and Jeffrey Hayton each filed to be a write-in candidate prior to the filing deadline Friday.
