No, i didnt see the Support Group thread u are talking about, but if as u say, ur intention was to "vent" about her. did u REALLY think it would evolve around a "friendly" discussion that "Didn" somehow Get her involved? put urself in her place, would u just pass that thread by, if u were her??
IF u were her, would u be happy to see others on a public forum discussing u, in a negative way? thats not what i would call ignoring her.
sometimes we need to take into consideration Who will be able to ignore a negative comment, sometimes age will play a factor into it and other times maturity does. and sometimes it doesnt matter at all - nothing ventured, nothing gained.
sometimes the bigger person is the one who walks away..
IMO
anyway, Happy New Year to u, hope alls well, ends well.
i sincerely hope All on Offbeat, will find a way to end this hate.
:O)
She dropped by and had her say, as did a few of her friends, and then it DID evolve into a chat thread. We talked about all kinds of things without ever mentioning her unless someone dropped in not knowing we had moved on. Like I said, ignoring her did not work, and if it's not us she will find someone else to attack. Ask anyone, she thrives on it. Look at it this way, as long as she's focused on us we're saving someone else from being her victim.

Happy New Year to you and yours!:)

No, I did not miss it, nor do I condone such abhorrent behavior.
That sort of thing should be conducted in the privacy of ones home!

<quoted text>Rick? Umm...your father-in-law called me- helluva nice guy btw- and wanted me to ask you when the HELL you're going home. He said Jane and the girls have been in the car for an hour now and she keeps calling him on her cell and asking him to kick you out. He didn't want to interrupt, but he thought you might listen to me....lol :)
Seriously, have a safe drive home, buddy.
God, I love you.

We had to take him to the ER (83 years old) for a kneee that looked like a football....

He is amazing, Opis.

Anyway, thanks for your indulgence here fella!

Love to you and Maria!

Funny chit, maybe I should go get me some of those meds she's referring too! Nah, forget I said that. I don't want to grow up to be like her, lmao! CRAZY!
Please, I said I would not insult but you are way older than me and I can tell you have spent too much time in a tanning bed or outside because your skin is leathery.

Umm - people ignore me all the time. its easy to do, so honestly i think if u dont ignore this person, its because u like the attention it gets "all" of those involved here.
just my thoughts on this, personally i dont care one way or the other, i dont really read most of her stuff, but seriously, did it ever occur to u to just Not post back to her? trust me, if a person doesnt get a response to something they have posted, they Will move on..
:O)
and besides people arent as "dumb" as u may think - its not so much as a thick head, sometimes its just their sick of watching those around actually feed into a person seeking "attention".
if someone is annoying, honestly sometimes ignoring is the Best policy..
just my opinion of course.
This all started over me not stopping posting to Vee and stating that so and so's Obama jokes on the thread Jayne invited me too were really offensive. I hate Bush but I am not going to advertise it all the fricking time. People don't like it when you don't do as you are told around here. I see this. I have been pretty passive but like JFR said "Freedom of Speech". These threads don't bother me, they are f ing up Grace's thread and making a mockery of it. She knows and she has written what she thinks of it.

Instead of copying my posts on the Soap why not go other there and read for yourself? Again, I say, no one person here is implied. If you take it personal, well very sorry.
