Jackson County deputies have arrested two people in connection to an arson that completely destroyed the home of Peter and Stephanie Lizon, a Leroy couple that made news last year after allegations surfaced that Peter had held Stephanie against her will in the home and brutally tortured her.

The Point Pleasant baseball team claimed its second straight victory and also managed a season sweep of host Ripley in the process Friday night during a 12-1 victory in a non-conference matchup at Ray Swisher Field in Jackson County.
