Local firefighters lend aid during Hillsboro blaze GARY ABERNATHY OCM News Service Scott Township firefighters covered the Hillsboro Fire Station while the city's firefighters were occupied with a massive fire near the center of town, which engulfed the former Highland Enterprise Lumber Company Sunday afternoon.

Brown County Sheriff Dwayne Wenninger says 21-year-old Kaleb Apgar and 18-year-old Amanda Hale both of State Route 41 were arrested by the Sheriff's Office on January 4 in Ripley for various drug trafficking charges.
