A Ridgeland teenager pocketed $22,000 in scholarship money this weekend. Mississippi's Junior Miss Sidney Anthony won first alternate in the America's Junior Miss Program in Mobile, Ala.

No one was injured in a house fire Tuesday morning in Ridgeland. The home at 308 South Ridge Drive in central Ridgeland caught fire about 2:30 a.m., said Ridgeland Fire Chief Matt Bailey.
