Police are investigating the suspected theft of distinctively colored Japanese fish from a backyard pool in the 1000 block of Redding last week.

Charges have been authorized against a former Macomb County sheriff's deputy accused of embezzling money while she was treasurer of the Romeo Lions Club.

Bobbi Jo Craft, a 16-year veteran of the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, is accused of embezzling up to $20,000 during her time as treasurer for the Romeo Lions Club.
