I enjoyed the work presented recently in Circulation by Richmond et al1 entitled "Direction of Preoperative Ventricular Shunting Affects Ventricular Mechanics After Tetralogy of Fallot Repair." However, a major limitation of this work was not discussed in the detail it deserves.
