A 51-year-old Appleton woman suffered fatal injuries when she got out of her vehicle following aA collision and was struck by another vehicle that slid in to her on a slippery stretch of Washington County highway Friday afternoon.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is announcing a public information meeting to discuss improvements on WIS 164 from County Q to County E in the village of Richfield and town of Polk in Washington County.

Plasticraft Molds currently occupies a 5,000-square-foot space in Germantown, Wis., but president and owner Eric Marlow said that the firm "is boxed in and needs more room." As a result, Plasticraft Molds will break ground on a 12,000 square foot plant in Richfield, which is about five miles away.
