Harmony High School raises funds for fire victims
At Friday's Homecoming pep rally, students of Harmony High School found out the total they had raised in a challenge given to them by their principal, Dennis Glenn.
Upshur County fires are contained, but danger remains high
The Northeast Texas Fire Complex of 52,951 acres in six counties; Cass, Cherokee, Gregg, Marion, Rusk and Upshur, is considered 100 percent contained as of Monday afternoon, but the fire danger remains.
On Wednesday, the favor was returned after a group from Labelle, TX traveled all the way to East Texas to repay the favor.
