The Northland Community Schools Board of Education began the tough task of cutting the 2010-11 school year budget at their regular monthly meeting in Longville last Thursday night.

In the coming weeks, several Northland school districts will return to the bargaining table with teachers in hopes of coming to contract agreement.

Northland Community Schools is in the process of strategic planning in order to develop a plan for the long-term success of the school district.
