How very cool!!!!

I remember flying Pan Am back in the late 70s - actually recently found the boarding pass that I had kept as a souvenir from my first flight!

Nice job, Anthony. What a great hobby - keep it going and open up that museum! I would certainly visit. And maybe you could even have beverage service there too!:-)

I was a TWA brat in the late 60's and seeing that cabin reminded me of the great times I had flying all over the world with them. This is a great hobby, to keep the memory of a great airline alive!

Just one question why? I don't feel so bad about some of the stuff I collect now. I guess some people never grow up

Hey Toth, you know how many people have the fear of flying. You could make some money and at the same time, help people overcome their fears, by giving them an actual experience of being on a plane, maybe someone you know that is good with hydraulics could even help you put those in to give that little turbulence feeling, so it's more of an effect. Like how they do them at disneyland or Universal. Think about it, hleping people and making money at the same time, it's a win/win. Great job, obviously it was made for a higher purpose then just being in a museum. You could actually play being the Pilot? What a life..lolll

It might rule if it had a plasma screen tv, a killer sound system and an s-video hookup to a pc. Then it's the ultimate mancave. But a 1970 replica curiosity? I'd rather spend the $50,000 flying to warm beaches with numerous scantily clad ladies. That might help Anthony re-channel some of his energies -- especially if they will play stewardess dress-up in period Pan Am outfits!

I loved those sexy stewardesses in those tight outfits. Much better than the "flight attendants" of today.

I flew a PanAm 747 from Panama to L.A. in April, 1976. Great fun at the time.

This story would have been more exciting if he had taken a 747 cockpit and flopped it down in his garage. The kids could sit in the pilot seat while watching ConAir on a video screen through the window.

For those saying this man needs a hobby, he already has one: Aviation. His job at United IS his hobby.

This is very cool and I would love to visit sometime.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Leo

If you ask someone to give you a hand today, don't be surprised if they make a mess of it. That's probably because their mind isn't on the job, but it might also be because your instructions aren't as clear as usual. So before you get angry, check that what you said made sense. Relations with someone older or more influential than you could also be blighted by confusion or doubt now.
