He claimed to be a Marine -- a decorated veteran of two tours in Iraq, wounded as he dodged roadside bombs that killed his buddies and leaders. via Press-Telegram

There should be some law that put a-holes in jail for impersonating a member of the armed forces.

Dilusional people are quite common in LB. Not defending him, but some folks really are not in our reality and are living a made up life. Kind of funny when a cop is taking what he thinks is a credible report, then 10 minutes into it, the person starts rambling off about the FBI and CIA. For this guy he might actually believe everything he said. Just something to think about.

A marine getting his butt kicked by a guy with a skateboard just doesn't make the smell test, which should have led the reporter to do a very easy check on the veracity of the pothead.
The daily breeze might want to consider a career in journalism.

Yeah, because this would be a good use of our resources. As if our jails aren't over crowded as it is.

The list of interests on this kid's Myspace page show exactly what his problem is. Charge him for the false report and move on.
