I missed the Aldi Fair at the Doubletree. Is there anywhere where I can send a resume to Aldi directly? Also, where is the new store going to be?

Hello? There is a thing called Google. Look, if you haven't figured that out by know and you are on here asking questions such as you are, save your time with applying at Aldi. I'm sure their parking lots already have speed bumps that have filled your capacity in life.

Can anyone think for themself anymore? Damn, what a sorry nation of dependent morons America has become.

Dear Former Dearborn Resident: Not only was your comment rude, it was uncalled for. I have tried "google" and Aldi does not let you apply online for jobs. Also I have tried to find the "NEW" Redford location and cannot find it. I am recently unemployed and have alot on my mind right now...as for you do you not have anything better to do but go onto a local website and harass others??????????

Hey tough luck on your employment situation. And, with reading that you have the capacity to Google, I will assume that you found Aldi's employment application process. Hey, that's a one up on the previous commenter. See, Aldi's like most all chain merchants, they really don't care where one applies for a position. Perhaps that is why a thing called a KIOSK was invented. I will also assume that this obvious fact is merely an oversight on your behalf due to your weighted down mind. Please, try not to add any more to your plate with concerning yourself with my time management affairs. You seem stressed enough as it is.

So, how is that "Hope" and "Change" thing working out for you?

Oh.. by the way...I googled and see what I found???

ALDI does not have online applications. When a position is open they will advertise it locally (via newspaper) and then you are required to physically walk in and fill it out. Usually they have 100-200 applications per opening.....
oh...burn!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for link ...but they will not allow you to apply online. You MUST attend a hiring event. I guess that answers my question. We can put this to rest. I voted for McCain.

Not so.

Well, Im sure that people in hell want ice water too, but if you really want a job at Aldi's you'd best get off your ass and follow their application process.

See, there's the problem with your 'wants' and what is reality.

If you want to eat, work and be a self-sufficient productive citizen, you'll get it. If not, I guess you'll be like the rest of the mooches leeching off the taxpayer funded government teat like generations of them from the City of Detroit do.

The choice is yours.

You are something else! I was laid off from an automotive job after 21 yrs of service and just lost another job due to downturn of business. I have never mooched anything in my life! I have worked all through my children's growing up years because I had to!! Time to shut your trap. I could say more but I am a Christian.

Wow, is there an excuse you haven't thought of? Look, since I've already expressed my sympathy with your current employment situation, I don't feel compelled in repeating it. But, please spare me the quandary of working while the kiddies grew up. You aren't the first to do so and certainly won't be the last. Sorry, but that dog just don't hunt with me. And, perhaps if you were a Christian that could say more, there wouldn't be so many entitlement enticing politicians elected to office robbing tax dollars from hard working people such as yourself just to hand over to generations of welfare leeches.

Give a fish to man and heats for a day, but, if you teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime?

Nope, Christians have become a mere shell of their former selves. In the past they'd never allow to be robbed from the way government does now (see 8th Commandment) nor would they allow their fellow man to become so dependent on the state (see 4th Commandment).

A friendly suggestion now that you have the time. You may want to educate yourself on corporate tax structure, especially in Michigan, to understand some of the reasons there is your quoted "downturn". You may also want to prepare yourself for the middle class Bush tax cuts that the Kenyan in the White House is going to let expire in 2010. If caught off guard, the spike in personal taxes may prove devastating in your situation.

Either way, I suppose if you want a job at Aldi's you will follow their application process with applying at a store location, not follow it, or just whine that you wanted to apply online while someone else takes a position. That choice is up to you.

The ball is firmly in your end of the court...
