Ten-year-old Chloe Rosa is sending a box of socks, coloring paper, a toothbrush, toothpaste, Play-Doh, stuffed animals and a notepad to a child she has never met.

Members of the Vassar Road Baptist Church and other volunteers are busy this afternoon collecting shoe box-sized packages containing hygiene items, school supplies and small toys for children around the world.
