It seems that some residents of Red Oak are very disappointed in their police department and are misdirecting their anger towards RAGBRAI cyclists. It's too bad because the event generates a lot of publicity for the cities in IA, as well as money for the smaller towns. I am sorry to hear that your police department may be inept. I witnessed two officers attempting to direct traffic on Sunday and it was a joke. They both were very confused. Good luck! Hopefully you will not have the pleasure of any further revenue generating events.
