The Montana Department of Commerce awarded a total of over $160,000 in economic development planning grants to organizations across the state, including one for $26,250 to Great Northern Development Corporation in Wolf Point.

A 43-year-old Red Lodge man has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for an attack on his wife in which prosecutors say he poured gasoline on the floor of a shop building while holding a cigarette, splashed some fuel on her and threatened to burn down the building.

A lack of snow in other ski areas across Montana has made it a difficult season for many ski resorts.

General Manager, Jeff Schmidt told KULR-8 that a chair on the Willow Creek Trail fell off the cable after 2:00 p.m. He said two teenage boys were on the chair and were transported to Beartooth Billings Clinic in Red Lodge.
