What wonderful memories I have of the Cavern Theater. the beautful cavern murals on the walls, nice comfortable seats, and even a CRYING ROOM for the infants! spend a lot of Saturday afternoons there. When & if they ever tear it down (heaven forbid!), I hope they let old farts like me in one last time to go a nostalgia trip. And the Big Sky-first date. Could'nt see into the cars sometimes because the windows were steamed up for some reason......

Yea, Even I miss the Cavern Theater, problem is all the asbestos. It's going to cost them a small fortune just to remove it, follow the laws and then dispose of it.

Shame they seal it all down...

I was at track when the fire started at the Cactus. I think that fire was in 1964 or 1965.

My first job was the grill at the Big Sky Drive-In. The hamburgers were REAL grilled hamburgers and they were great! My second job was the Box Office at the Cavern Theatre. Wow, what fun times those were.

My sister, brother-in-law and I agreed that the Cactus did not burn down in 1962 as the recent article said. It had to have been in 1964.
