By COSHANDRA DILLARD Staff Writer QUITMAN -- An extensive criminal history, a parole violation and a "moving" impact statement from a victim are among the factors that lead 402nd District Court Judge G. Timothy Boswell to sentence a Hawkins man to life in prison.

Organizers believe there needs to be a deeper appreciation of the impact of all veterans from past and current wars.
