A Quakertown woman crashed her motorcycle into a pole in the borough and was hospitalized Thursday night, police said.

If this is the telephone pole right on the corner next to McCoole's Red Lion Inn, I'm not surprised she ran into it.
You can tell it's been hit before because it literally is as far out on the corner as it can be without actually being in the intersection due to how close the McCoole's building is to the road. In fact, if you're driving south on Main Street you actually have to veer slightly to the left as you cross Broad just to avoid hitting the pole. |
