Conifer Realty presented Tuesday slight alterations to its affordable housing proposal to the New Castle Town Board following requests from community members and officials on its initial proposal.

A Danbury, Conn. man was arraigned Monday in Orange County Court on charges he ran over a Monroe woman with his car and then fled the scene.

State police have identified the woman whose body was found on a Route 9W entrance ramp Sunday morning as Veronica Gutierrez, 24, of Monroe.
