Ashlee Wilson benefit is Saturday
A chili supper, pie auction and silent auction to benefit Ashlee Wilson, daughter of Terry and Karen Wilson, is set 3-7 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Hut in Yellville.
Workers at the Pioneer Propane Co. in the small Marion County town of Snow spent Thursday filling propane bottles and checking on customersa tanks in preparation for the ice and snow expected today.
One injured in Boone County crash
One person was injured Wednesday in a Boone County crash. Gilberto Delarosa, 20, of Pyatt was treated and released from North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Couple arrested on pot charges
A Pyatt area couple was arrested Friday on charges of manufacturing marijuana. Ron Gilliland, 66, and Joanna Gilliland, 64, were arrested after authorities in helicopters found about 10 marijuana plants growing in pots in their backyard and numerous others hanging up to dry inside the residence, according to a Marion County Sheriff's Office news ...
Marion County reports several arrests
The Marion County Sheriff's Office is reporting several arrests during the past week, including four arrested on drug-related charges.
