Obama: New consumer protections 'essential'

Full story: Kansas.com

Pushing for a law this year, Obama said: "While I'm not spoiling for a fight, I'm ready for one." Obama used his weekly radio and Internet address on Saturday to defend a proposal, unveiled last week, that would impose and enforce new rules for the nation's embattled financial system.

bewildered consumers are primarily poorly or totally uneducated for the most part - followed by con artists seeking financial redress from an out of control tort system!! most complaints are my word only verbals and companies are aware of and handle them accordingly!!- the liar-in chief sees this approach as a method to corral as many voters as he can to his side in the next election!! it's called pandering - which he does well!!-- always remember the adage - when can you tell a person is lying?? answer - when their lips move!!- it would behoove companies to get a certified notarized - agreement to terms with each transaction to quell the consumer abuse!!!

Obama will be the worst president since Jimmy Carter may even prove to be more so. This person loves to spend when in reality the feds should be cutting taxes to get the economic ball rolling. We are all being forced into something much bigger and we are only seeing the top and not getting the meat of the agenda. We will be paying this mistake for many years that's if we still have a Constitution once this moron has finished his term. Your personal rights along with civil liberties are ready to be stripped from you and no one is saying a word about it. What makes this worse the press is so quiet it is deafening, guaranteed if this was GW in office they would be rolling him over the coals. Most of the money will not be used until 2012, I wonder why this is reelection time and he will use the money to pay off the unions, speaking of unions this is how he is getting his health care plan through is by exempting the unions from having to pay into the plan and making the general public float the bill.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Scorpio

A loved one is very assertive under the Full Moon tonight. You'll only make it worse if you come down like a ton of bricks, given that Mars is retrograde and it's a lunar eclipse tonight. Besides, do you really want to spoil this evening's celebrations because you've had a flaming row? If possible, live and let live, so you can have a really happy New Year!
