Police: Thief Ate Cookies Before Taking Money
Authorities in west-central Minnesota are looking for a burglar with a craving for sweets.
Kandiyohi County Sheriff Dan Hartog said on Christmas evening, someone broke into a house in Prinsburg and stole some money.
The thief also ate some of the homeowner's cookies and a cake, and went into a bedroom and sprayed a nightstand, mirror and a bra with some pink hairspray.
The sheriff said the intruder might have been someone who knew the homeowners' schedule -- and the intent was malicious, not fun. Read more
