This is totally ludicrous. They should pass a law to require that a death sentence be carried out in no more than 90 days from the time it is handed down. Why should we taxpayers have to bear the burden and expense of feeding and housing this trash after they have been tried, convicted, and sentenced by a jury?

Why not make it 1 yr. 90 days seems a little short for an appeal process

You got one part right at least, what you posted is ludicrous. 90 days is not enough time to find out if a witness lied or some lab made a mistake. I agree it takes too long for the appeals process, but us not be ridiculous.

I think the death penalty should be abolished all together. If one innocent person is put to death using the death penalty then the system is flawed. I hate to say this but I would never risk the life of 1 innocent person just to save tax money. I believe that murderers and rapists should be put to death but our justice system simply doesn't provide us a way to be 100% sure of guilt. So morally I would have to disagree with it entirely.
