We do enough stories on TV about kids doing the wrong thing. So tonight, here are some youngsters leading adults in the right direction.

The challenge for Lozano, 31, is convincing voters in his new district of Bee, Jim Wells, Kenedy and San Patricio counties that his switch was about their future and not his political aspirations.

On that day, in the lobby of the Region 2 Education Service Center in Corpus Christi, the other schools presented Premont with checks totaling $65,349 to help fund two science labs.

Dozens of schools and thousands of children, parents and teachers learned an important lesson of compassion and teamwork Thursday.

In an emotional news conference that left teachers and administrators in tears, students from 22 area school districts announced that they had raised more than $65,000 to help Premont ISD pay for science labs.
