Longtime volunteer Samantha 'Sam' Dewey plans to rise around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, then work at the 18th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Des Moines until about 2 p.m. 'Afterward, I help pick it all up and when we're all done, I go home and take a nap,' she said.
